The CountryCraft Firewood story officially began over the holidays in 2023, but its roots stretch back over 30 years.
Founded by a father and son team, Tony and Stephan, our journey started long ago with a shared passion for the outdoors and countless memories spent around a fire.
Whether it was camping trips, BBQs, or the wood-burning fireplace in our home, fires were a constant theme that brought us closer together.
The catalyst for starting CountryCraft Firewood came from our family’s new found love for cooking with an at home wood-fired pizza oven.
After searching for the smaller cuts of wood required for the ovens, we quickly realized there were no providers of California kiln dried Red Oak firewood and cooking wood.
Raising our family in Paso Robles, CA, we were well aware of the exceptional qualities of Red Oak wood sourced from our region, particularly for cooking.
This gap inspired us to form a company dedicated to delivering premium kiln dried wood from California’s Central Coast to the entire nation.
